Hello again,
I’m facing a little issue with the “printed bevel gear axle screw side” and the dogbone.
I’m with the 406 design so dogbones and rear arms have a 170mm length.
And when I mount those pieces, I have a clash between extremity of the dogbone and the screw into the printed bevel gear axle.
There’s no play for the dogbone and it’s even worse because the hub gets a negative angle. Suspension cannot travel.
I see two possibilities :
- Have a deeper countersink on screw head (and reduce the proposed length of the screw, cause if we don’t we will have the same issue on the nut side)
- Reduce the length of the dogbone on the screw side, but I’m not sure that it won’t generate an issue with the cinematic of the rear axle
Cheers,
Tpam
